The League of Women Voters is founded as "a mighty experiment" at the Victory Convention of the National American Woman Suffrage Association in Chicago, Illinois, in 1920.
Katherine Stinson
Katherine Stinson, the fourth licensed woman pilot in the country, was born today in 1891. She was the first woman to “loop the loop” and the first woman to fly in Asia, drawing 25,000 to watch in Tokyo.
