Fanny Garrison Villard, a suffragist and philanthropist, was born today in 1844. She provided financial support for certified milk and wholesome food in Diet Kitchen, provided funds for Barnard College, Radcliffe College and Hampton Institute, and worked with the Women’s Peace Party.
