Five-time Grammy Award-winning singer Dionne Warwick was born today in 1940. She is most well known for her hits "Don't Make Me Over,” "Walk on By," "(Theme From) Valley of the Dolls," "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling," "I'll Never Love This Way Again" and her signature tune "Heartbreaker."


Mary Jones was one of the earliest recorded stories of a trans woman in American history, although whether she was a gay crossdresser or a transsexual woman is not known. She was born today in 1803.
